Let the truth be told, Grumpy doesn’t always like eating out because there is nothing quite like a home-made meal prepared with nothing but love and passion for family. And so, the inspiration for Grumpy’s Café.
A family-owned business that prepares every meal as if it were for their own family (that’s you!). We don’t serve guests – the moment you walk through our doors, we invite you to our table as our very own family member, and will prepare your meal with heartfelt passion for your enjoyment. We want our passion for delicious home-cooked meals to connect people in a forever kind of way.
Our little spot is cozy and warm, it is the perfect invitation for a family meal, a lady’s brunch, a coffee on the go, or a business meeting. We have a generator and wi-fi, so escape the loadshedding and knock off the stress as you work alongside our famous coffee.

Found out about this café recently and decided to pop in. I was not disappointed with the cosy atmosphere, efficient service, wonderful staff and delicious food! This is a reasonably priced café with several vegetarian options. Cappuccino and red cappuccino were fantastic! I'll definitely be back to try out other dishes and the baked goods!

Sweetest café with amazing food and awesome vibes. We just love everything about Grumpy's. The staff is super welcoming, the owner is always caring and the food is incredible. Also has the best white chocolate and cranberry cookies ever! I love them. ❤️☕️

Amazing breakfast! The food was absolutely delicious and the portions are generous! Their coffee is perfect and the little complimentary biscuit that its served with is scrumptious! I will definitely be visiting again ! Great food, friendly and attentive service and good value for money.
